Vivienne R Cook

Councillor

In 2018 I returned to Weston under Lizard where I had previously lived. I

retired from professional life in 2005 having worked in Finance for a private

health group for many years.

Since retiring I have been involved in fundraising activities for various

organisations; set up Age Concern walking groups; served on various PCC’s

and Governing Body for Church in Wales. Was a volunteer for British Red

Cross in Oswestry.

I have recently been co-opted to the Parish Council and look forward to being

able to serve the community that I live in and make a positive contribution to

our village and the environment. I have a keen interest in the countryside and

helping villages and hamlets to be sustainable, viable communities. Of great

importance to me is helping to keep the village safe and secure for all its

residents.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and the challenges of long-distance

walking. I have an interest in local history and anything to do with the natural

world.
